Welcome to the webpage of the Nano-Optics Research Laboratory at Koç University.

We are pursuing high resolution optical spectrocopy and microscopy experiments with a special emphasis on using techniques involving fluorescence. Main research efforts pursued in the laboratory fall under the following sub-topics:

  • Optical microcavities - Liquid microdroplet spectroscopy
  • Single molecule microscopy / spectroscopy
  • Applications using optical tweezers
